Interests: My interests include biking, hiking, tennis, and being out on the water. I play many board games with friends and my large extended family. I enjoy travel and have taught school in another country as part of an internship. I really enjoy reading and have many books on my “favorites” list. My greatest joy is singing and praising our faithful God. He richly blesses us with His love in Jesus!
Why have you chosen to become a part of Faith Lutheran School? I chose to become part of the teaching staff at Faith Lutheran because I love teaching and ministering to families. The mission statement of the school “Connecting people to Jesus” is near and dear to my heart. It is a blessing and honor to help the students in my room grow to trust their Lord, Jesus and love others for Him.
What is your favorite thing about teaching Pre-Kindergarten? My favorite thing about teaching Pre-Kindergarten is that each day holds excitement. Students are brimming with energy and adventure. I enjoy the task of discovering how each student learns and love encouraging them to grow into confident life-long-learners who are not afraid to try something new. It is my deep desire to help all my students grow in friendships, academics, and to learn of God’s love for them in Jesus our Lord.
