Wareham, Jon
Principal
Faith Lutheran is a special place. It is a family of believers that truly embody the full love of Christ. As principal I lead by serving. I make sure that every teacher and staff member knows I support them. Families can be assured that each child that attends this school has a teacher that is empowered by the Gospel, equipped with all the necessary tools needed to serve their child, and engaged on a personal level to enhance the child’s experience. As an experienced Principal of 40 years, Faith Lutheran maybe small, but remember the old saying, “Great things come in small packages!” Great things happen here at Faith Lutheran School, always have, always will!

Henning, Ashley
Early Childhood Director
Mrs. Henning has a heart for early childhood education and a deep love for Faith Lutheran Preschool. As both the Early Childhood Director and Pre-K teacher, she finds joy in creating a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children feel loved, safe, and excited to learn.
She loves teaching young children about Jesus and helping them grow not only academically, but in faith and kindness. Her favorite part of teaching Pre-K is watching children discover new things — seeing their excitement and confidence grow as they explore, ask questions, and learn through play. Mrs. Henning believes that curiosity, creativity, and faith are the foundation for lifelong learning.

Glass, Susie
Admissions Director and Receptionist
I don't teach in the classroom, but I love getting to know all the kids and their families! From the little ones who are just learning how to properly greet someone to the middle schoolers that I can have actual conversations with - they all bring me joy! I love showing my faith through my actions - you'll find me singing or humming at my desk and I love showing a positive attitude to my little friends if they are having a bad day. I'm a former Systems Analyst/Project Manager and I left that career so I could be home with my children and not have to worry about being on call (that was back in the dark days when you couldn't dial in from home!) That career taught me how to multitask, to be flexible and to be (somewhat) organized, all of which are required in my current position.

Jones, Glenn
Business Manager
My faith impacts everything in my life. I view my role as Business Manager as service to our Lord more than I view it as a job.
My role as a Supply Officer for a Marine helicopter squadron and my management of a production center for computer output have exposed me to an understanding of the many moving parts that make an organization work. Owning my own business (The UPS Store) exposed me to the "joy" of managing resources and making payroll.

Irvin, Susan
Librarian
Susan Irvin has been serving as the Faith Lutheran School Librarian since October 2023. Her four children all attended our school, so she has a long-standing history with the excellent education offered at FLS!
She started working in the Cobb County Public Library System in 2001, and received her Master of Library Science degree from the University of Alabama in 2007. Her duties at the county library included being the Children's and Youth Services librarian for 12 years, then Adult Services librarian for 5 years, and Branch Manager at two locations before she retired in 2021.
She absolutely LOVES sharing wonderful stories and reading to children, demonstrating to them how they much they can discover about the world in books. She enjoys watching them find just the right book and learn new things.
Mrs. Irvin feels blessed to teach your children and hopes to help instill in them an appreciation for the valuable resource a library is, the assurance that our Lord is the author of all knowledge, and the encouragement that (as one of the signs in our library states):
"READING will expand your mind, shape your dreams, take you on an adventure, and inspire you to think BIG!"

After a rough patch in life, I found the light at the end of the tunnel when I found Faith Lutheran School. I was welcomed with open arms and have developed amazing relationships with the staff, students, and parents. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher following my grandmother’s footsteps, and here at Faith Lutheran, I’m happy to have this opportunity. I hope to not only grow my faith but also to help teach children about God and help them develop a strong foundation for their own faith as they grow.

ECE 3 Teacher
I currently teach multiple age groups. I enjoy teaching the 2's and 3's because for a lot of them, I am the first teacher that they will have. When you teach this age group, you are setting the foundation for their school experience. They are learning so much at this age and their brains are like little sponges. Watching their eyes light up when they see or do something new and exciting is one of the sweetest things you will ever see. I enjoy teaching elementary and middle school Art because I get to use my passion for education purposes. I have always loved to draw and create, and getting to teach that to others is such a great experience for me.Teaching both age groups is very rewarding.
My Christian faith impacts my classroom in many ways. Sharing the love of Jesus with a young child is so special. Being one of the first people in their little lives to teach them about God's love is a big deal. We pray before meals, talk about Jesus during Jesus Time, sing our favorite chapel songs, and talk about how God wants us to love everyone and be kind.
I graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree. I did not originally go to school for Education. I had other plans, but somehow always ended up working with children. I came to Faith in 2011 to enroll my own child and ended up applying for an Assistant position at that time. That was when my love for this job really started. I was offered a lead position the following year, and every year since then has been a wonderful learning experience. I think that one of the most rewarding things about being a teacher is not only getting to expand young minds, but to also constantly be learning from each set of children that you have. I have taken online training classes as well in order to make sure I am giving the best care possible to my students.

I love watching the toddlers take in all that they are learning. Everything is new to them, and it’s fun to see.
Our youngest learners may not fully understand the significance of Christian values, however, we do not need to wait until they fully understand .As teachers we are setting the stage for the child’s future and helping them to develop those faith-based habits to prepare them for when they reach an age where they can begin to reflect on and understand the different aspects of faith.

Fletcher, Heidi
ECE4 Teacher
Hi, I’m Mrs. Heidi, and I feel so blessed to teach Pre-K 4 at Faith! I love helping young children build a strong foundation for reading, learning, and spiritual growth in a warm and joyful classroom where they feel safe, loved, and eager to explore. In Pre-K 4, we focus on early literacy and math skills, fine motor development, listening and following directions, and learning to work and play kindly with others—all while growing in God’s love through daily Bible stories, songs, and prayer. This is my ninth year at Faith, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to partner with families in helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and faith.

Turner, Tera
Kindergarten Teacher
My name is Tera Turner; I am a dedicated Kindergarten teacher with over 25 years of experience in early childhood education. I believe that every child learns best through curiosity, creativity, and a spiritual connection with God. I hold both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in education, bringing a deep understanding of early childhood development and social foundations of learning into my classroom.
I have worked to create a nurturing, stimulating classroom environment where young learners feel safe to explore, grow, and express themselves. For the past two years, I have worked at Faith Lutheran School, where I am passionate about not only academic growth, but also spiritual growth. I enjoy building supportive relationships with children and families while helping students grow in their love for God and on another.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, strong family partnerships, and inclusive practice that celebrate the unique strengths of each student. I will continue to help children build foundational literacy, numeracy skills, develop confidence, and instill the love of God, the love of others, and a passion for learning in every child, while making learning meaningful and memorable for every child that enters my classroom.

Schleuger, Stefani
1st Grade
I love being able to help others, and this year I get to do that in many ways. One of those ways is as an administrative assistant which means I get to help the principal in the day-to-day operations of the school. This gives me a lot of joy being able to help keep things running smoothly. I also get to know many of the families and the staff here at Faith through this role.
I also have the pleasure of teaching middle school math and substituting around the school when needed. Being with the students brings me a lot of joy and it is what I love most about working here. I have taught for 8 years and it is a passion of mine. Seeing how our students learn and grow in their faith is such a rewarding and enriching experience.

Shea, Jessica
P.E., Music, and Technology Teacher
I love to watch my students grow and develop at every stage.
During Physical Education, I enjoy talking with the students about how God has created their bodies, and each are given special gifts or talent. During Technology class, I provide discussion for the students about what is means to be in a Digital Community and as Christians, how our actions our reflected in the community.
I started teaching in 2010. Over this time I have held a variety of roles and teaching potions. This is the second school that I have taught at and I believe that God is allowing me to take all the I have learned and truly apply it here at Faith.
