SAFETY & SECURITY
The safety, security, and well-being of our students, teachers, parishioners, and staff is of the highest importance.
We have hardened the security of our facilities and we have established and practiced procedures that deter and greatly reduce the impact of potential incidents.
We continue to review and maintain the integrity of our security plan and facilities, assess risks, and make improvements on an ongoing basis.

If you are a member of our church or our school family or if you are a concerned member of the community, you may contact the school principal with your security questions and concerns.
Here is a brief description of just some of the security measures we take:
- We have East Cobb police on-site presence and site patrolling on active school days. The police know our site, our teachers, and staff. This will aid quick and targeted response if required.
- We have a school incident prevention and action plan. Staff and teachers are trained and practiced on the plan and in their roles and responsibilities.
- We have good basic security facilities: cameras covering entire stie and facilities inside and out, strict electronic door access restrictions, immediate site wide communication system for all staff and teachers, and hardened classroom doors with both visual and physical blocks.
- The principal of the school leads a school and church security committee. We continue to review and maintain the integrity of our security plan and facilities, assess risks, and make improvements on an ongoing basis. The committee makes use of trained and experienced outside expertise on school and church incident prevention and response from the East Cobb police, as required.
- Planned 25/26 – Driveway security gates and 6 ft fence restricting outside access to the sides and back of the facility.
- Planned 25/26 – Sunday morning church day incident prevention and action plan. Ushers are trained and practiced on the plan and roles and responsibilities.
